WORLD LIFE (Yusuf Fehmi YAŞAR - Student, 6/A )

Size and Structure:

The diameter of the Earth is approximately 12,742 kilometers. The Earth's surface consists of approximately 71% water and 29% land. Its internal structure consists of three main layers: core, mantle and crust.

Atmosphere:

Earth's atmosphere consists of 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen and 1% other gases. The atmosphere provides the oxygen necessary for life and provides protection against harmful solar radiation.

Magnetic field:

Earth's magnetic field protects life by deflecting much of the harmful radiation from the sun. The magnetic field is created by the movement of the outer core consisting of iron and nickel.

Climate and Weather:

There are different climate zones on Earth: tropical, temperate, arctic, etc. Climate varies because the sun reaches different regions on Earth at different angles.

Life:

The Earth hosts billions of different types of living things, including humans, animals, plants and microorganisms.Biodiversity is critical to the health and sustainability of ecosystems.
